Scholarly Advice: Julius Ebreo’s Audition Tips!

With our Scholarship auditions coming up soon, we’ve been asking our former scholars for tips and advice for the new batch of scholars coming in! Today we have some advice from Julius Ebreo,  a Steps scholar in 2003, now based in London as a dancer, choreographer,  and director of BE Artisan.

What tips can you give for a good and successful scholarship audition?

Be there and generously SHARE your talent, passion and love for dance. There’s a lot of things to think about but nothing to worry about. Just go for it. They are excited to meet you.:-)

What were the biggest lessons you learned while a scholar at steps?

Being kind to myself.  Positivity, patience, tenacity, hard work and making sure my learning experience is not just from my teachers but also from my co-dancers and all the staff of Steps.

Any advice for our future generation of scholars at Steps?

It’s an exciting adventure and there is a bright future ahead of you so enjoy and cherish every single moment that you have with Steps. Be hungry! Have fun!
